About FloodSafeFloodSafe

FloodSafe is a national brand used by NSW SES (and other interstate SES) to categorise information and engagement tools available to key stakeholders to improve awareness of flood risk and build preparedness, response and recovery capacity.
Existing FloodSafe community engagement and education activities target different key stakeholders potentially affected by floods and include:

  • Business Breakfasts
  • Engagements with residents in flood risk areas
  • School visits

The FloodSafe program has a range of information and capacity building products (guides, website and brochures and toolkits) to complement these community engagement strategies including the following:
